Quetta to Karachi is the busiest route we operate. It is roughly 690 kilometres and takes nine to ten hours of steady driving, plus stops. Plan it properly and it is a comfortable day; plan it badly and it becomes a very long night.
Best departure time
Leaving Quetta between 5am and 6am is ideal. You clear the Bolan section in daylight, reach Khuzdar around midday and arrive in Karachi before evening traffic builds up on the Northern Bypass.
Recommended stops
Break the journey into three comfortable segments rather than pushing straight through.
- Kalat – tea and a short leg stretch, roughly two hours from Quetta
- Khuzdar – proper lunch stop and fuel top up
- Wadh or Bela – final refuel and rest before the run into Sindh
Which vehicle to choose
For two to four passengers, an automatic Corolla Grande or Civic Oriel Turbo is the most comfortable option because highway cruising is effortless. For families of six or more, our Toyota Wish or Wish Grand Cabin keeps everyone comfortable with luggage space to spare. If you are travelling in summer, prioritise a vehicle with strong rear AC vents.
Safety notes
Carry water and light snacks, keep your phone charged and share your live location with family. Avoid driving this route after dark if you can. Our drivers follow a fixed rule: no unnecessary night driving between Khuzdar and Kalat, and a rest stop at least every two and a half hours.
