Quetta to Islamabad is around 900 kilometres and takes twelve to fourteen hours depending on route and stops. Most travellers split it over two days, and we strongly recommend that for family trips.
Two route options
Via Dera Ghazi Khan and Multan onto the M-4 and M-2 motorways is the smoother choice: more motorway kilometres, better fuel availability and easier night driving. The Zhob and Dera Ismail Khan route is shorter on paper but slower in practice.
Vehicle recommendation
Long motorway hours reward an automatic transmission and cruise control. Our Civic Oriel Turbo and Corolla Grande are the two most requested vehicles for this route, while families often choose the Corolla Grande for its higher seating position and boot space.
Overnight break
Multan is the natural halfway stop with good hotels and easy motorway access. Tell us at booking and we will plan the driver rest around your hotel timing.
